Valente proudly serves as a Legal Advisory Board Member of the New York Portuguese American Leadership Council (NYPALC) and recently joined community leaders and residents in celebrating Portugal Day, an annual observance honoring Portuguese heritage, culture, and contributions.
The festivities began with Nassau County’s Portugal Day celebration at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola. The event featured a flag ceremony, community recognition awards, and the illumination of the building in Portugal’s national colors of red and green.
Lisa also attended the annual Portugal Day Parade in Mineola, a longstanding tradition that brings together Portuguese-American organizations, cultural groups, and families from across New York State to celebrate and preserve Portuguese traditions and heritage.
