Your Help Has Gotten Us Steps Closer to a Cure
On October 5, 2025, Makofsky Valente lawyers, staff, clients, family and friends walked in support of pancreatic cancer research at Jones Beach as part of the Lustgarten Foundation Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research. This cause means a lot to us, and we know it means a lot to you as well.
Our team came in at #15 out of 198 total teams, and raised $10, 410 — exceeding our goal! Partner Lisa Valente reached #9 out of 1,142 registered individuals on the leaderboard, raising $5,742 for research.
In total, the Long Island Lustgarten Foundation Walk for Pancreatic Cancer Research raised over $700,000 to help scientists find a cure. Close to 70,000 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the United States each year. It is estimated that over 50,000 will die from the disease this year. We still have no cure…. but we are now steps closer, thanks to your help.
