Makofsky Valente Law Group is pleased to announce that we will be taking part in the Making Strides of Long Island Walk Against Cancer on Sunday, October 20, 2024. We choose to support Breast Cancer Awareness.
“Breast cancer has affected too many people I love,” said Team Leader Lisa Valente, Esq. “That’s why I’ve joined Making Strides Against Breast Cancer to honor survivors and thrivers, remember those we’ve lost, and offer up support to anyone in our community who’s been affected by it.”
The Makofsky Valente team will be fundraising and walking together in support of the American Cancer Society’s support services and lifesaving outreach. Your help makes all the difference — every dollar counts towards finding a cure and helping those who are living with or fighting cancer.
The walk begins between 7:00 AM and 10:30 AM (rolling start) and ends at about noon. The walk starts at Jones Beach State Park, Field 5, which is located at 1 Ocean Parkway, Wantagh, NY. More information is available here.
We encourage you to join our team and walk with us and/or make a donation and support us as we walk to help the American Cancer Society fund cancer research, patient support, and advocacy efforts to end breast cancer, as we know it, for everyone.
