If you or someone you know is covered by Medicare Part B, including those enrolled in a Medicare Advantage Plan, we have some important information to share with you. Medicare is currently covering up to eight over-the-counter COVID-19 tests per calendar month, at no cost to you, until the COVID-19 public health emergency ends. Medicare will not cover the tests if you only have Medicare Part A.
You can pick up the over-the-counter COVID-19 tests at any participating pharmacy or health care provider. It is important to first check with your pharmacy or health care provider to see if they are participating in the program.
