We Are In This Together

Like you, we are incessantly washing our hands, using disinfectant wipes and practicing social distancing. We are feeling the anxiety of our clients, our families and our friends. Nevertheless, we at Makofsky Valente Law Group, P.C. are a team of problem solvers and by the beginning of this week, we transformed our office to one where each of us is working remotely and safely at home.

We have employed a myriad of technological tools which allow us to work together and to strategize how to best serve our clients. We are communicating with clients, drafting documents and arranging to have those documents signed within the CDC distancing guidelines or entirely remotely. We continue to work on client strategies for Medicaid eligibility and making applications. We are moving our probate and estate administration matters forward. Although the Courts are limiting hearings and appearances, we are still able to work on our guardianship matters. Answering our phones and counseling those who call for our advice is a priority for us.

Over the years, we have learned that calm, sage advice and a little kindness goes a long way to making an awful predicament better. We will all get through this together.
