Have Your Health Care Proxy Available

We hope everyone is safe and feeling well during this uncertain time. These are anxiety ridden days and probably will continue to be so in the weeks to come. We are all concerned about our own well-being and the health of those we love. We at Makofsky Valente Law Group P.C. are working on all fronts to continue to help our clients and others who seek our counsel.
We have prepared thousands of health care proxies for our clients over the years as part of the estate and disability plans created by the attorneys at our firm. As most know, a health care proxy appoints an agent to make health care decisions for you when you lack the capacity to make your own medical decisions.
Amidst this alarming pandemic, staying well is paramount and there is growing concern about what will happen if we do become sick. We want our clients who have signed health care proxies with us in the past to not stress about locating their health care proxies.
As a courtesy and upon request, we will email any client a copy of his or her health care proxy which was prepared by our office. We want to remind everyone that a copy of the health care proxy is as good as the original. To request that we email you a copy of your health care proxy, kindly send your request via email to info@MakofskyLaw.com. We will gladly forward you a copy of the document by return email if we have an electronic copy of the health care proxy on file.
