Lisa R. Valente was recognized for this distinguished honor at the Nassau Community College Alumni Association’s Annual Honoree Dinner on October 29, 2026 at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, New York. This distinguished recognition celebrates Lisa’s professional accomplishments, impactful community service, and a lasting commitment to Nassau Community College.
As Managing Partner of Makofsky Valente Law Group, P.C., Lisa has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families navigate important legal matters involving elder law, estate planning, Medicaid planning, and trusts and estates. Her commitment to her clients extends beyond providing legal guidance; she is passionate about helping families protect their assets, plan for the future, and make informed decisions during some of life’s most important transitions.
