The holidays are not easy for everyone. With this in mind, the attorneys and staff at Makofsky Valente Law Group decided to do something different for the holidays this year. Instead of an office gift exchange or grab bag, everyone agreed to donate money to ‘adopt’ a family or two in need for the holidays.
We are so pleased to report that our nine employees gathered close to $600, and were able to help two families in need from the St. Raphael’s R.C. Church community in East Meadow. Last week, partner Lisa Valente had the pleasure of meeting and delivering the firm’s gifts to two single moms and their families. The moms were each given a generous gift card to Walmart and some gift cards to Wendy’s so their children could enjoy a treat. The mothers were very appreciative and we were so glad to be able to help.
